Richard Sidey is a digital media designer and professional photographer from the South Island of New Zealand. He specialises in time lapse and time based media, antarctic landscape and wildlife photography and experimental short films. His time lapse short film Aeon, a project completed at Massey University in Wellington, has won several awards internationally, including 'best short film' at the Documentary New Zealand Film Festival in 2005.
Richard recently returned from a voyage with Silversea Expeditions, travelling past the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula. His travel blog has a few photos: Sich on Ice.
