Hana Fahy - Slide (music video)

This music video is a hand-drawn/painted stop-motion animation for Dunedin-based soul artist Hana Fahy with the track Slide from her 2010 EP, World Still Turns. Over 800 drawings were sketched out on rolls of recycled paper, painted and then individualy photographed and arranged in sequence to create this free flowing experimental work.

Hana Fahy has been writing and performing her songs for rather a long time now and has now compiled a shiny new band of her favourite Dunedin musicians to help her do it. Rob Falconer on drums, Gareth Bedford on bass and the multitalented Erica Stichbury on violin, guitar and vocals are the Low Tones.
