Richard Sidey is a digital media designer and professional photographer from the South Island of New Zealand. He specialises in time lapse and time based media, antarctic landscape and wildlife photography and experimental short films. His time lapse short film Aeon, a project completed at Massey University in Wellington, has won several awards internationally, including 'best short film' at the documentary new zealand film festival in 2005.
Currently Richard is travelling and living abroad in Europe, his next assignment is a return to Antarctica and South Georgia in February 2009, arranged through Theme Exhibitions, with Silversea Expeditions on the Prince Albert II. |
