In late 2003, through a series of coincidences, I ended up working as a wine steward on the powerful Russian Icebreaker, Kapitan Khlebnikov, destination Antarctica...

While in Antarctica I created a short non-verbal film 'Midnight Sun' to help portray my experience to my friends and family when I returned. When it was time to leave the ice I realised I was hooked and made it my mission to get back there as soon as possible.

In the past few years I have been fortunate to travel to the spectacular polar regions of the planet with Quark Expeditions as an Artist in Residence.

Currently I am travelling and living abroad, currently in Ireland after working abroad in Australia & Canada.
