IN THE THEATRE OF THE GOGS

A contemplation of art and adventure in the southern wilds of New Zealand by both a landscape photographer and an adventure filmmaker. This film is the unexpected result of their two unique perspectives.

New Zealand based adventure film maker Richard Sidey and landscape photographer Christopher David Thompson headed into the wild lands of southern New Zealand on a sea kayaking and hiking adventure.

The two each documented the place and the journey in their own unique way.

In the Theatre of the Gogs is the contemplative and collaborative film that was the unanticipated result; a delightful musing on the explorations of art and adventure in the wilderness.
